He/Him

Since 2011, Joey has assisted Farm Forward with numerous research projects and education initiatives. Primarily, he organizes the Jonathan Safran Foer Virtual Classroom Visit, an interactive webinar event where students and participants from around the world engage with Foer and other speakers on topics related to Foer’s 2009 book Eating Animals. As a philosophy instructor at Oregon State University and an associate fellow of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics, Joey sees his work with Farm Forward as a natural extension of his teaching and research at the intersection of food, animal, and environmental issues.
